Photovoltaics: Markets and Opportunities for Electricians and Electrical Contractors

PV installation is a new potential market for electricians and electrical contractors. Accessing the opportunities available requires commitment to training and accreditation and therefore represents a significant business decision. This half-day workshop is designed to assist in this decision-making process by providing information on the global and European PV market, regulatory issues and available support.

The first session deals in detail with the questions which are likely to arise from the public or from organisations considering take-up of PV. The second session looks at current industrial and research trends and gives an overview of the likely development of the PV sector in the near future.
